We restarted our programme of supporting smaller events by way of raising funds for the main event. This is but one of the events organised. More are being developed as we go along. Watch out on social media for whats coming up.

Juliette Lemoine & Chris Amer

'Two exceptional and accomplished new voices on the Scottish music scene, Juliette Lemoine and Chris Amer together explore traditional Scottish music with originality, energy and depth. Since launching her SAY Award Long-listed album ‘Soaring’ with a sold-out performance at Celtic Connections 2023, cellist Juliette has continued to cement her status as a trailblazer, progressing and redefining the cello within Scottish traditional music. Chris Amer plays a unique 5-string theorbed tenor guitar and exemplifies a thoughtful, musically intelligent playing style. As a unique duo, their live performances are an immersive dialogue characterised by rich emotional colour, close interaction and vibrant spontaneity.'

Cello Workshop & Performance

WORKSHOP: 2:30pm - 5:30pm
Participants are to bring a packed lunch. Hot / cold drinks, biscuits etc. will be provided at the afternoon break and at the teatime break.
PERFORMANCE
The evening will start at 7pm with a performance from the workshop participants. Followed by a performance from Juliette and Chris.
People arriving for the evening performance should do so by 6:45pm for a complimentary drink.
The evening will finish by 8:30pm.

Ticket prices: £15 for workshop participants - this will include cost for refreshments at the breaks, taking part in the workshops and staying for the evening performance.
People arriving for the evening performance only: tickets cost £10 includes complementary drink.
Workshops suitable for intermediate to advanced musicians. Open to all instruments.
